Last night, I sat for a few minutes and just tried to visualize my week. I’ve heard somewhere that the more senses that you can incorporate into studying, the easier it will be to remember what you are studying. So, I’m applying this concept to my weekly planning. I figure if I have “sense” related goals, I will be better able to accomplish all the other stuff I need to do.
So, here are my sense-related goals:
Sight–To behold cleanliness and beauty in my life. To observe unhurried, productive activity throughout the week.
Hearing–To hear music filling my week, sometimes classical music, other times fun, “dancy” music!
Touch–I want to feel softness, energy, accomplishment, and support.
Smell–I want to smell healthy food cooking, candles burning and I want to smell nice when I leave the house.
Taste–I want to taste home cooked food, macaroni and cheese that Luke likes, cookies, broccoli, carrots and cool water.
