Not just try again, but TRY TRY TRY AGAIN!
Perseverance: Keeping on keeping on–Definition by the late Mark Paul (my Sunday school teacher when I was in 5th grade.).
I tried once! I tried my hardest! I gave it my all! I did my best!
But, my best wasn’t good enough :(. So, what do I do? TRY TRY AGAIN.
Work sure does seem to teach me a lot; it seems to also parallel what I’m learning in my spiritual life. Right now God is teaching me perseverance (btw, in order to spell that word correctly I have to say Per-SEV-ER-ance in my head! :)). At work, I am faced with a task that feels impossible, but one that I must undertake. My cop out is “I tried already!! It didn’t work!! I can’t do it!!” But I have to try, try and TRY AGAIN!

Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.–Ralph Waldo Emerson
